ABSTRACT
Execution (Giuseppe Monti)
The article defines execution, that is execution
of working procedures and activities required
in order to get companies' aims and meet business
success. Good results can be achieved only when
it is possible defining in details how to attain
the required objectives, which kind of resources,
activities, processes and tools must be made
use of and even when partial results are more
and more audited and reviewed.
Companies have four spheres of action or prospects,
in conformity with Balanced Scorecard:
- Financial prospect: we should wonder which
kind of responsibility we have to take to
our shareholders and what they expect of us;
- Customers prospect: who are our customers
and what do they request from us? Which is
our Value proposition? Is it Customer Intimacy,
Product Leadership or Operational Excellence?
- Internal procedures prospect: which stage
of our procedures can be improved can be improved
in order to make our Value proposition effective?
- Employees' learning and growth prospect:
have we got human capital, in order to get
aims defined in last three prospects, that
is knowledges, competencies and motivation?
Have we got Information capital, organisational
capital , leadership, teamwork?
