Balanced Scorecard inside Small and Medium Enterprises

Is it possible bringing into SME a management system tended to introduce a new strategy and new business’ performance models in accordance with different trends of business culture and in order to start a new experimental period, able to overcome problems connected with competitiveness?
The use of BSC, a business tool born to solve performance’ evaluation problems within companies, can give an effective answer to this question.
